Is Lars von Trier a truly depressed individual? He has claimed this status in the past, but does that excuse his horrible excuse for joking that he’s a Nazi while promoting Melancholia? Hell no. Just watch the video and (more importantly) the reaction of Kirsten Dunst, and you’ll probably figure out why von Trier’s (who we covered at great length two years ago in the Cannes context of Antichrist) just been declared “persona non grata” by Cannes organizers. Good riddance.

The guy must be on meds to ramble on so foolishly, digging himself deeper and deeper into a hole. Dunst, clearly not comfortable, should have told him to “shut the fuck up!” and then got up and walk away.
