It’s Always Nice To Be Nominated . . .
At the 13th Critics’ Choice Awards, Javier Bardem won Best Supporting Actor for his role in No Country For Old Men. The film certainly cleaned up, for on behalf of Joel and Ethan Coen, Bardem also picked up the award for Best Director: “I’m the third brother, the Spanish one.” Eddie Vedder surely lamented his loss in the Best Song category, or perhaps it was his enduring grunge haircut that saddened him so.

Vedder is verging into mullet territory in that picture.
Eddie Vedder stopped being relevant in 1994. Or maybe I grew up. One or the other.
