I watch I and II every time they’re on TV, even though I own the DVDs. My third favorite gangster movie with lots of fedoras and quotable lines is Miller’s Crossing. The GF’s are probably better movies, but who can argue with Gabriel Byrne?

I have gone through phases throughout the years. Earlier this year there was about a three month span where everytime I scrolled through the Comcast program guide, one or the other of the Godfathers was on. It’s what Ace would call a flypaper movie and thusly I have yet to be able to pass by without committing several hours to it. And, as much as I love the original, I really love G2.

It was to a point where, when I turned on the t.v. and it wasn’t on, I felt a sense of relief.

Hey, has anyone over at Pajiba ever done a review of it? I mean, is there anyone alive who hasn’t already seen it?
