Oh, bloody hell. For whatever reason, the pictures from this year-old post just popped into my head, so I had to post them for your mutual benefit as well. You’re welcome.

The image at left was, of course, the cover from the November 2007 issue of the now-defunct print edition of Radar Magazine. (Remember that awesomeness? Many would argue that the online edition has taken an irreparable suicide leap as well. Yet I digress.) At the time, Radar was performing an exquisite parody of the February 2006 (Tom Ford’s Hollywood) issue of Vanity Fair. Radar had substituted Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama in place of Keira Knightley and Scarlett Johansson as the nude starlets de jour, and Rudy Giuliani had adopted Tom Ford’s odd display of ear-nibbling.

This is apropos of nothing but for the ironic placement of starstruck Scarlett and her target. Of course, her own statements of self-importance were rewarded with a subsequent comeuppance.

Oh yeah, and boobies.
