This week’s issue of Popbitch contains two blind items, one of which seems obvious, and the other, not so much:
Which rock star’s mother-in-law said about him this week? “He looks like a rat but he’s a good father to the kids… But he’s a miserable, rat-faced man.”
Perhaps the answer to this riddle is the rather homely lead singer of Coldplay, who has two children (Apple & Moses) and is married to the insufferable Gwyneth Paltrow. As to that last detail, we can’t blame Chris Martin for being so bloody miserable looking. Martin also possesses diva qualities as evidenced by his abrupt departure during a BBC interview, which he justified simply by stating, “I’m not enjoying this.” No shit. Next?
Which aging Hollywood superstar likes playing golf because the empty fairways give him a chance to take cocaine in peace?
Hmm. So many celebrities on so many golf courses…. who could it be?

I’m going to go with Jack Nicholson or Michael Douglas. They both have the look.

Sean Connery also plays golf, but he doesn’t look or act like a coke whore.
Doesn’t Bill Murray like to golf? I don’t want slam Bill–I love him, but he allegedly does have substance abuse issues, right?
