Unfortunately, your eyes do not deceive you. Defamer tips us off that the Starz channel would have us believe that Lindsay Lohan’s stripper film is so bad that you simply must watch it… just like Showgirls!
This advert campaign, will amusing, will certainly fail miserably. One cannot force a cult/camp classic label, which must be duly earned, upon an audience. Although both Showgirls and I Know Who Killed Me revolve around a stripper character, the two films are so vastly different that no analogy can be drawn. Further, the Lohan film has none of the memorable dialogue and gusto of Showgirls, which also has perfectly awful gutter dwellings by Gina Gershon and Kyle MacLachlan to its advantage.
Oh, fuck it — this discussion is a waste of time — I’ve already said what’s worth saying about I Know Who Killed Me. However, I shall never get enough of Lohan’s startling career moves inspired by the Black Knight. It’s only a flesh wound, bitches.

I think this might be the first time I’ve ever heard “Showgirls” discussed in a positive context.
Showgirls is a guilty pleasure… it’s so campy and overacted that it comes off rather hilarious. Poor Liz Berkeley….
I’ve only ever seen one clip of it, which was actually kind of hot. But the reviews I’ve read were savage.
