For a nice little musical interlude, go here to see a video of Tori Amos improvising a song about Lindsay Lohan and her troubles with sex, drugs, driving, and the whole concept of living like an adult. Tori calls the song “I’m Not Stupid.” Three guesses who she thinks is stupid.
Tori has done some songs that I like a lot, although much of her stuff falls into the “you’ll never know the pain of the sand in my vagina” school of PC female songwriting that does little or nothing for me. (And American Doll Posse sounded like something Andrea Dworkin would have recorded if she’d been able to carry a tune.) But she only rarely gets arrested, and I have no idea what her genitals look like. That gives her enough cred to slap down Lindsay Lohan—not for being wicked or immoral, but for being so freakin’ dumb. Also, considering Tori made it up on the spot, it’s a pretty catchy little tune.
