Fashionista sleazebag Tom Ford has taken some heat for the ad campaign for his namesake fragrance, Tom Ford for Men. Basically, the two ads released so far show a nude model cradling a bottle of the stuff between her funbags, and a second shot where the bottle is between her thighs. More or less. (You can see both pics in the gallery here, or go here to see the NSFW and thoroughly epileptogenic opening montage.) Now Tom has shot a spoof feature of his own ad, very partially shown above. And no, I’m afraid that’s not a hairy male chest. According to Tom, the spoof has a point:

There’s a double standard with featuring female nudity and featuring male nudity…. When people say to me, ‘Well, you objectify women,’ [I say] ”m an equal opportunity objectifier. We had a lot of magazines reject the female version [of the campaign], so the male version is going to get rejected even more.

The double standard thing might well be true. However, I’m going to go out on a limb here and suggest that the combination “personal fragrance” and “hairy ass” will have people wrinkling their noses for reasons that have little do with sexism.
