In order to raise money for Perth Zoo’s Wildlife Conservation Action, the “Artwork by Elephants” program actually puts these unlikely artists in charge of paintbrushes (although their feet help a bit too). Reportedly, creating paintings also helps “keep them stimulated, healthy and happy. This might very well be a debatable claim, but the elephants haven’t complained as of yet.
