Indeed, this poster speaks the truth, don’t it? The Ugly Truth is an April 2009 romantic comedy (hurl!) starring the insufferable Katherine Heigl and the formerly sexy Gerard Butler. Regardless of how good or bad this film happens to be, Heigl will, in later interviews, describe it as a “sexist” portrayal of women. Never mind that the film will be equally sexist in regard to men, who generally enjoy being treated as pieces of meat. Of course, Gerard’s been hitting the roofies pretty hard lately and has been banging anything in sight, so his lovely Scottish accent has totally lost its effect. However, redemption may still be in the cards. Shape up, mister!

Being treated like a piece of meat is much more enjoyable as a fantasy than as an actual experience… but there’s some truth to that.
But of course men endure an unending stream of sexist crap continuously. Fathers and husbands are bumbling idiots on every TV show and commercial you see. Boys are violent and stupid. The role models that are held up are metrosexual wussy “men” that I want to grab and yell in their faces… except it would make them cry.
If John Wayne were here he’d do it anyway.

Hmmm, dunno, maybe I’m the only dude here who thinks so, but Katherine is highly hittable. Twice, even.
Only if she kept her mouth shut the entire time.
