OMG she told me she was reading sex tips!!!

Some of this is OT, but …

Reminds me of when ‘we’ were trying to get pregmant with our first child. My wife was having fertility problems and when her morning temperature said she was ovulating, we had to do it every night until her monthly visitor came for a visit. Let me tell you guys (and ladies), when you have to have sex every night whether you feel like it or not, it just isn’t as fun as you think it might be. It becomes a chore for both of you.

Anyway, it got to the point after a couple of months that, as a joke, I started bringing a magazine as we were going through the motions. She thought it was funny at first but got tired of it pretty quickly. Trying to make small talk as though we were out to dinner wasn’t much better.

It was much easier on both of us when the doctor told us to come in and let me have sex with a speciman cup*. My wife got pregnant with me a full two doors down. Our daughter’s middle name is Paige - named after her other ‘father’, the nurse who did the insemination.

It was so tiresome for both of us that when we were ready for our second child, she got pregnant on attempt #1. I’ll be damned if we were going to go through that again.

* Note: a (not so bright) friend and his wife went through the same thing a couple of months later. He didn’t appreciate finding out that it wasn’t true that I told him to tell the nurse that he wanted to pay the extra $50 service fee for her to “give him a hand”. Yes, he asked.
