Now, this advert brings back some fond (and a few not-so-fond) memories. As you can see (and click the thumbnail to get a better view), this is actually a grid-like layout of thirty-two retro movie adverts within a larger advert containing the movie channel logo at the bottom. It’s pretty fucking clever, really. The newspaper effect (print is almost dead, right?) certainly reels in the nostalgia as intended. The cumulative effect of it all says that this movie channel has one hell of a selection that will please anyone old enough to remember looking up showtimes on a Friday night in the most antiquated of ways, rather than, you know, clicking away on the internet.
