Here’s to Ukrainian democracy babe Yulia Timoshenko, who led her Bloc party to a second-place showing in Ukraine’s recent parliamentary elections. Timoshenko is still trying to form a coalition with Alexander Yushchenko, whose Our Ukraine party finished third. Observers attributed Timoshenko’s showing to her strong pro-Western tilt, her drop-dead good looks, and some of the coolest campaign posters ever. (This one reads, roughly, “Fast Forward!” Timoshenko had line 36 on the multi-party ballot.)
You can see her other posters here, including the very cool “Out of the gloom”’” poster inspired by the Russian vampire-hunter movie, “Night Patrol.” And, if you think this is a joke, you can see the Ukrainian-language versions on Timoshenko’s personal website.
Voters were drawn to Timoshenko by her free-market, anti-corruption policies. I’m drawn to her because her last name isn’t Spears, O’Donnell, or Jones.

Too cool!!
what a Babe!
and here we are stuck with the likes/looks of boxer, fienstien and hilary.
Post-communist politics has never looked so good.
The ‘Night Patrol’ shot made me think of something, that hopefully someone with Photoshop skills can make happen. How about Condi Rice in a “Blade” inspired poster?
I understand that ‘Yulia Tymoshenko’ is Ukrainian for “I’d give a year’s salary just to lick her thighs”.
