And now she’s saying yes, yes, yes. Following her trip to the hospital Wednesday for “exhaustion” (and that traditional cure for exhaustion, the stomach pump), Amy checked into The Priory Clinic in Roehampton in southwest London. She was accompanied by several people, including her parents and an individual described by one anonymous source as a “minder.” The source went on to say, “She looked in a terrible state, she could barely walk.”
Amy’s family and friends haven’t even bothered to support the ridiculous claim that her problems stem from exhaustion and a workaholic lifestyle. Her father-in-law Lance Fielder dismissed the claim as a cover-up and said, “It was all brought on by her excesses. Yes, work is one of them, but there’s the drink and drugs too. She’s got to get a grip on herself before it’s too late.” An unnamed friend was even more direct:
It’s not an exaggeration to say that unless she sorts herself out, this relentless dalliance with drink and drugs will only have one ending. And it won’t be happy. It’s time for some tough love which is why we’ve taken her to get help.
Rehab hasn’t proved to be the royal road to a healthy lifestyle for bad girls on this side of the pond, but there’s always hope, I guess. Certainly it would be nice to see one of these celebutards get her act together and stop behaving like an utterly gormless skank.
