Today’s award for the Stupidest Damn Marketing Decision You’ve Ever Heard has to go to Calvin Klein and several other unnamed design houses, who allegedly are hoping to get walking disaster area Amy Winehouse to create her own designer line of clothing. According to the article:
Amy is constantly being asked to create her own clothes range and the main area designers are interested in her working on is denims.
Skinny fit jeans and denim shorts are the stuff she wears. Amy is of course interested in these offers, but her music comes first.
(Actually, her music is more like third, behind drugs and binge drinking, but you get the idea.)
Another person who’s determined to turn Amy into a fashion icon is Vogue editor Anna Wintour, who has decreed that Amy will be the Vogue cover girl for the September issue. A source, speaking anonymously (a smart thing to do when you’re commenting on Anna Wintour), said: “An order from Anna Wintour is like a royal command and the order was ‘Get me Amy.’ Anna loved Amy’s album so much that she just had to have her.”
Honestly, making Amy Winehouse into a fashion trendsetter makes about as much sense as putting Pete Doherty’s picture on a box of Wheaties. Have any of these people ever even seen Amy Winehouse?

What is it about gossip blogs and freaks?
Good question, mate. I’d like the know the answer to that one myself.
Caption: I told you not to cum in my mouth, you bastard!
As long as Amy doesn’t start whoring her own dental care products, I’m not that worried. Maybe Anna just wants to gently suggest that dental bridgework is a lovely accessory.
