Vanity Fair magazine has named its April 2008 bombshell — Summer Glau of Fox’s “Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles.” Glau admits that she almost neglected to attend the casting call for the role that has catalyzed her rapid ascent to fame:
“I was reluctant to audition because I knew who they had cast as the girl Terminator in the last movie,” says Glau. “She’s statuesque and really striking.”
Vanity Fair’s website has a new web-exclusive gallery of The Vanity Girls (”shapely ingénues [who] are on the cusp of fame or have just hit it big”) in 50s-style pinups shots. The magazine’s collection of dolled-up dames is definitely worth a glimpse or two.

It’s amazing what a hair stylist/makeup artist/photoshop jockey can do to someone’s appearance. I didn’t even recognize Summer. She can play with my salt any time she wants…
Also, Kate Mara is one of the subjects, who looks pretty good, too.
Photoshop or not, you rarely see the retro pics pulled off as well as they are here.
Marilyn Lohan, remember?
Sorry. Brain broke now.
