Actually, Bjork is so profoundly nuts that this really is plausible. According to bjork.com, your source for all things Bjorkish, the delightful Icelandic psycho-pixie will be joining up with Led Zeppelin on an upcoming world tour. Björk is stepping in to replace Robert Plant, who’s busy working with Allison Krause. (Parts of this, amazingly enough, are slightly true.) Much like trickster Trent Reznor (see below), Bjork has even released a song list:
Björk has though put forward her wish that they only cover with her songs from album I and IV, among them pure classics like: “Good Times Bad Times”, “You Shook Me”, “Dazed and Confused”, “Your Time Is Gonna Come”, “Black Mountain Side”, “Communication Breakdown”, “I Can’t Quit You Baby”, “Black Dog” , “Rock and Roll”, “The Battle of Evermore” and “Stairway to Heaven”.
There’s even a link that claims to offer tour dates and ticket information. Not to mention great, great deals on stock in General Motors and Citibank. It’s a shame this is pure April Fools BS, because hearing Bjork perform “Communication Breakdown” would have been the experience of a lifetime. And she, and only she, could sing “Stairway to Heaven” the way it was meant to be sung. This time, we might even understand the lyrics.

This reads like a bad Lex and Terry April Fool’s Day joke.
Can’t.be.true.
NEVER joke about Led Zeppelin.
Ha ha ha. I just adore Bjork, but mostly, I like to say her name repeatedly in different accents.
Bjork Bjork Bjork.
Is it wrong that a little part of me thinks this would be awesome?
Plus, re: Stairway to Heaven, we would still not understand the lyrics, but we wouldn’t expect to . Because it’s BJORK.
