Bad enough that Tom Cruise is facing box office disaster and the possible end of United Artists. (No, I’m not going to link to a post one inch down the page. You lazy buggers will just have to scroll your way there.) Now he’s feeling the wrath of Katie Holmes’ strong pimp hand. From the link:

Furious Katie Holmes discovered Scientology books and pamphlets cluttering a table in her dressing room after a rehearsal of the Broadway show “All My Sons,” snatched them up, shoved them at hubby Tom Cruise and snapped: “Get rid of these! They are NOT staying in my dressing room!”

Apparently Tom had hoped the literature might draw visitors to Katie’s dressing room off the topic of her performance and encourage them to consider getting their thetans scrubbed, or something. But Katie wasn’t having any of it. Nice to see that Katie’s Stepfordization hasn’t been an unqualified success, and even more surprising to see that Tom Cruise is such a beaten husk of a man that he did what she told him to do. After Valkyrie goes down in flames, Katie will probably have the poor guy peeling grapes for her and giving her weekly pedicures.
