There wasn’t much coverage here at Agent Bedhead of Lindsay Lohan’s courtroom/jailhouse saga, mostly because the whole Lindsay Lohan Story is becoming so repetitive and boring that it’s impossible to stay awake long enough even to read a post on the subject, much less write one. But fortunately the good folks at Taiwan NMA News have prepared a video that recaps the entire story from beginning to end (or at least the story thus far). Taiwan NMA News doesn’t have a whole lot of fancy-pants video feeds, but thanks to state-of-the-art CGI that’s quite unnecessary. They did a superb job of reconstructing the Al Gore masseuse incident, and with Lindsay’s legal troubles they’ve surpassed themselves. Honestly, this clip has everything—Love Bug references, Lady Gaga references, even a lesbian shower scene where the other prison babes play “drop the soap” with our hapless heroine. (New York magazine has a version with English subtitles, but I prefer the original. The incomprehensibility really adds something to it.)

I have no idea how seriously these videos are taken in Taiwan, or if they’re taken seriously at all. If they are, then some Taiwanese visitors to the US are going to be gravely disappointed when they learn life here isn’t remotely as cool as these CGI reconstructions. Personally, henceforth Taiwan NMA News is going to be my sole source for all news stories. Compared to this stuff, mere humdrum reality comes off looking a bit like a sack of crap.
