The lovely bobgirrl at 1 Girl, 4 Martinis paged me with an alert as follows:
“Jennifer Aniston has been named #1 on the People magazine “best-dressed” list. (The Agent is going to have a fit!) And she’s wearing a black dress in the photo (surprise, surprise).”
Most assuredly, rhis news did unnerve my nonsensibilities. Jennifer Aniston cannot possibly qualify as the 2006 best-dressed woman because she essentially wears the same damn thing to every movie premiere and awards show. People magazine bestowed Jen with the illustrious honour for her “natural fashion sense.” Oddly enough, the more appropriate award for Aniston, “most monochromatic,” went to George Clooney instead because like most men, he wears a black suit to special events. This is such an atrocity that I’m holding my very own protest of sorts - The Jennifer Aniston Black Outfit Gallery below:
Do I stutter? Those bravest of souls that made it this far definitely deserve a treat, so keep on clicking:

oh, come on, agent!
cant you see that the black is a different color each time?
Not you, Gino. Dammit, I expect more loyalty from you.
Well, girlfriend, I was going to suggest that we protest by only wearing colorful dresses. Unfortunately, all of mine are black. But I’m taking my credit card to Bloomingdale’s tomorrow and buying something in bright orange, dammit!
I’m wearing my hot pink thong in protest today.
I swear I had something to say here, but the image of Phin in a hot pink thong just drove everything else out of my mind. If anyone’s looking for me, I’ll be scrubbing my brain with a wire brush.
Maybe she’s mourning the loss of taffeta?
i saw that, and wondered when your black dress tribute would come forward — and here it is.
doesn’t she realize she’d look good in other colours, too?!
Thank you, Phin. I’m wearing mine as well.
And can I just please say (although I’m not sure The Agent condones the use of the F word), I hate her fucking hair.
