The problem is that there is absolutely nothing behind those big brown eyes, nothing is exuded, not intelligence or mischief, not playfulness or depth. She’s an attractive shell. In a word, bland.

AB, I think you’re right. Maybe she’s just not that into it and that’s what I’m picking up on. I think she tries to come across as naughty and it just kind of falls flat. At the other end of the spectrum you have someone like Drew Barrymore who can give you a sweet innocent smile and somehow you can tell she’s a crazed beast in bed.

She is sooo the girl next door. And, she is probably one of those girls that you hang out with and then sometime later ask yourself, “How the hell did I not notice her before?”

I mean, ScarJo has a great body, but how does that saying go, “Show me a beautiful woman and I’ll show you a man…”

I get the felling that Anne is the best friend that eventually makes the hot girl look bad by comparison.

Also, no matter what she wears, Anne has an impossibly wholesome aura around her. Like, you just know that she doesn’t deviate from missionary position during sex or something.

Contrast that with this piece I just read on Liv Tyler:

LOS ANGELES — Liv Tyler earned the nickname “Action Pants” on the set of “The Incredible Hulk” after her tight pants ripped during filming and crew members scored a sneak peek at her rear end. And unluckily for Liv, this was reoccurring.

Liv Tyler is also very attractive — and admittedly more my type than Anne Hathaway — but I’m not sure (I’m really sorry Liv) she can compete in the boob department. But yet she is by my calculations 84.6 times as hot as Anne Hathaway. Why?

I’m really not sure what it is. Is it the pasty complexion, the weird angular jaw, or something else entirely?

I was starting to feel vaguely attracted to her from watching promo material from the new Get Smart movie, but then I read this:

Her publicist (or somebody) should probably slap a muzzle on her when they think she might approach a reporter and say something like this:

“There was a health scare last year and a certain contact solution, I won’t say the name of it but it was the one that I use — gave you conjunctivitis,” Hathaway explained to Pop Tarts while promoting her latest stint as Agent 99. “I also had a sinus infection at the same time. So I had to go up to Steve, my eye is red, puffy and dripping green — I’m just like snotty and I’m just like … ‘Come here!’”
