Pete Doherty’s journals have officially been released by Orion books as the presumptively titled Books Of Albion. For whatever reason, the journals are currently available only in the UK, but I imagine this little issue is easily bypassed with a nice wad of cash. Many excerpts of the original writings remain online, although I must confess that, some time ago, I managed to download their full contents. Oh, the shame!
At any rate, since Doherty fans are a masochistic breed, such types will savor the headaches earned while attempting to decipher his junkie handwriting. Not surprisingly, Kate Moss performs a requisite shoutout within the published version:
“You have touched my heart and soul, little fucker I wish you wouldn’t ring my door now go I could kiss you again and float way. You make me high, my sweet, my skin shivers and longs to be held by you.”
Insert wretching sound from yours truly. Now, a few words from Pete:
Hold me in your arms and I want for nothing. Lay there, back to me, defiant in your defiance. Well fuck you, I love you, and I do and I do and I do.
(I’ve) never seen anything like it in my life she’s amazing dancing rolling her shoulders in her cut up dress I’m so wrong I know but if she loves me I’ll scream with joy…
Oh yes, let us scream with joy along with Pete for “KP Nuts: Part 2,” for which Kate Moss very well may have stolen Carl Barat’s old Libertines jacket.
The first KP Nuts video still persists, despite our efforts to delete it.

[...] AB: Another Kick In The Doherty Nuts [...]
I know nothing of British drug laws, but why isn’t Pete Doherty in jail? He’s been busted how many times…?
Aw, please. I’m like the biggest Pete fan, and I adore Kate too,
not for being Petes beloved but for being a hell of a model.
Despite that, I feel so deeply embarrased when I see the KP-nuts videos,
I think they’re terrible and wish I’d never seen them.
