It’s the moment we’ve all been waiting for. The trailer for Repo: The Genetic Opera is now on YouTube, and I must say it exceeds my expectations. Just not in a good way. Paris Hilton appears briefly around the 40-second mark, wearing a brunette wig that looks like a loaner from Britney Spears and caterwauling something totally suited to her vocal abilities, but the main feature of the trailer is Sarah Brightman. This is interesting because I could have sworn that Sarah Brightman was still alive, but the only way to explain her presence in this thing is to assume that she died and was sentenced to Career Hell for unknown but presumably heinous sins. Sarah and these other fine people will be arriving in your local theatre 25 April 2008, so mark that date on your calendar and stay out of the mallplex at all costs. You have been warned.
