Season Two of “Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles” is gearing up for its first episode on September 8th, and the program’s cast of regular characters has expanded from four to nine. Among the major characters are Lena Headey as Sarah Connor, the leader of the human resistance; Thomas Dekker as John Connor, the 15-year old future resistance leader; Summer Glau as Cameron Phillips, the potato chip and pancake eating Terminator and guardian to John; Brian Austin Green (who suddenly grew into sexy) plays Derek Reese, brother of Kyle and resistance fighter; Owain Yeoman as Cromartie, the Terminator who aims to kill John (first in the show’s pilot and also in a first-season episode that’s cleverly called “The Turk”); Richard T. Jones as James Ellison, the FBI agent tracking Sarah, and, of course, Shirley Manson as Catherine Weaver, the “anti Sarah Connor” and CEO of Cyberdyne (Skynet).
At ComicCon 2008, executive producer John Wirth revealed that, at some point during Season Two, one of the nine majors character shall die. This announcement was made much to the surprise of all cast members in attendance, so it’s safe to say things should get rather interesting. Catch a crapload of Season Two promo piccies below:
