Apparently His Business Is Finished

By Mr. Atoz in David Carradine, Smoking Bolts

David Carradine, the actor best known (to some) as Kwai Chang Caine in the television series Kung Fu and (to most) as the title character Uma Thurman hunted through the two Kill Bill movies, was found dead in a Bangkok hotel room this morning. Police said he appeared to have hung himself.

Carradine’s career was long and decidedly uneven, but the Kill Bill movies marked the beginning of a major comeback. A quick look at IMDb shows Carradine had seven different movies in pre- or post-production, and he was in Bangkok working on an eighth, called Stretch. A lot of easy, morbid jokes suggest themselves, given his manner of death, but this isn’t the right time. RIP, David. You’ll be missed.

A shock. To me he’ll always be Justin Lamotte, his character in North and South.

I’m sorry for being a pedant, but it’s ‘hanged’ himself.
