Sasha Grey has made quite an impression in the course of her brief but memorable film career (180 hardcore features in four years). But despite the fact that she’s been violated in orifices medical science hasn’t even found a name for yet, Sasha is determined to prove that she’s a serious actress. She got decent reviews — not great, but decent — for her role in Soderbergh’s The Girlfriend Experience, and in her latest project, she’s ready to show audiences just how far she can stretch herself. (You know what I mean. Just get your minds out of the gutter for a second.) In the upcoming film Hallows, Sasha will play a fundamentalist Christian teen who’s taken a purity vow and cherishes her virginity:

We toyed with offering Sasha another sexier role in the film, but she fell in love with the idea of playing against type, portraying the exact opposite of what the public perceives her to be.”

Interesting, although in this case “what the public perceives her to be” is what she is. Also playing against type is Christina Cupo, described as a “top Christian star,” who’ll be playing a pierced and tattooed goth girl with a penchant for rough sex. So I guess good girl Christina is out to prove that she’s every bit as flexible as Sasha..
