Guitar Hero 5 hit the stores last week, and so far it doesn’t seem to be winning any popularity contests. One of its biggest non-fans is this guy, who seems less than pleased that the game gives you the aesthetically dubious option of hearing Kurt Cobain play songs by big-haired wankers like Jon Bon Jovi. The blogger blames Courtney Love and Dave Grohl–or, as he so lucidly calls them:

Fucking corporate cock-sucking memory-destroying fret-wanking MTV-supporting fame-chasing money-grabbing grave-turning publicity-loving vacuous spoiled jaded cunting rock whores.”

No way was Courtney going to sit still for an obvious ripoff of her prose style like that—particularly one more coherent and creative than anything she’s posted lately. She fired back with a series of twitters captured by Idolator. It’s hard to tell what she’s getting at, except that she’s pissed at the blogger and may have been so zonked on one of her various chemical cocktails that she didn’t know what she was signing. At any rate, now Courtney’s calling the game “vile” and “necrophilic,” and claims she’s going to “sue the shit” out of Activision. Maybe she finally got around to seeing the “Someone Gives Love a Bad Name (Hint: Courtney)” clip that’s been floating around the web for the past week. Bitter much, Courtney?
