All those who didn’t see this coming should probably quit surfing the internet, turn off their computers, and from now on just use them as bulky, costly paperweights. In one of the least surprising stories in days, Holy Moly is reporting that Amy Winehouse has been arrested while on tour in Bergen, Norway. The charges are unclear. Could be drugs, could be domestic violence, or possibly some interesting combination platter. (In Scandinavia, I believe that’s called the “smrgasbord option.”) It would be nice to think the arrest might serve as a wake-up call for Ms. Winehouse. More likely, while she’s been on a three-year bender that’s taken her down eight dress sizes, one of the things that melted away was her learning curve.
