5. Curious George (2006): “Show Me The Monkey!”
A double entendre that evokes imagery of Tom Cruise? It’s a children’s movie, for fuck’s sake.
4. Lolita (1962): “How did they ever make a movie of Lolita?”
That’s a great question, actually. Just don’t ask the audience.
3. House of Wax (2005): “On May 6th…See Paris Die!”
This one is sick but actually kinda funny. Still, it’s a bad reason to sit through the whole film. Catch the scene on YouTube.
2. Ape (1976): “Not To Be Confused With KING KONG”
Encouraging people not to see the movie? Exactly.
1. Wuthering Heights (1939): “I KNOW..HE LOATHES ME AND DESPISES ME. I KNOW..HE MARRIED ME TO SPITE THE WOMAN HE REALLY LOVES!” & “I am Heathcliff! I love a woman who belongs to another man!… My love was fierce… my hate is burning! I will have vengeance!”
Some people have issues. Yeesh.

Pi was actually an excellent movie and will completely freak your shit out. It does not have ANY commercial appeal, however, and the tagline would not have changed that.
Goldblum, Jurassic Pk: “That is one big pile of shit”
Despite all evidence to the contrary, he wasn’t talking about the movie. Interesting coincidence, all the same.
Best tagline ever; especially in a particularly excerable movie:
“When he pours he reigns” Cocktail

I dunno. I kinda hate the Tony-the-Tiger-tagline for Citizen Kane:
“It’s Terrific!”
The Crank tagline sounds like it was supposed to be a Holy Grail reference.
