As promised, I’ve actually restrained myself from posting about Inglourious Basterds for a full 48 hours. This omission was anything but effortless, particularly since Esquire dropped their new “Can’t Keep A Good Basterd Down” short film, which shows six of Lt. Aldo Raine’s (Brad Pitt) Basterds wreaking havoc: Omar Doom destroys a piano; Samm Levine smashes a wall; Gedeon Burkhard starts an inferno; Paul Rust gets crazy with electrical wiring; B.J. Novak fucks up the plumbing; and Eli Roth obliterates an entire room. Naturally, the Basterds do all of this while wearing the likes of Ralph Lauren, Prada, Gucci, Burberry, and Bruno Magli. Plus, interviews with all reveal some amusing anecdotes.

In addition, Blackbook Magazine has talked shop (about scalping, cheating death, drinking beer with Brad Pitt, and writing music) with Omar Doom and also forced him to push a golf cart around Catalina Island while they took pictures.
