Pete Doherty is said to have actually blushed when his pants ripped during his performance at the Scotland’s Loch Lomond Festival. Bloody hell! This mishap will hopefully teach him to never again, uh, go commando during concerts. As a dedicated junkie rocker, Doherty continued to perform the rest of Babyshambles’ set with his ass hanging out. Bless his little cotton socks.

If splitting one’s pants weren’t enough of an adventure, Pete and the rest of Babyshambles ended up in the icy waters of the Loch Limond when their boat sprang a leak 30 metres from shore:

Manager Adrian Hunter told the Record: “It was freezing and we had a laugh but it wouldn’t have been funny if someone had died.”

Yeah, it wouldn’t have amusing at all if, instead of Pete Doherty killing himself with a heroin overdose, he’d have drowned instead. Allegedly, the boys had gotten impatient while waiting for the official VIP luxury speedboat to take them from the rock festival to their luxury hotel. So, they hitched a ride with a local:

Adrian said: “We were waiting for the official boat when we saw this old guy with a rowing boat and decided to take that instead. It was more fun. Halfway to the shore we lost an oar so the boat was drifting to the other side, but we didn’t really mind. Then we realised it had sprung a leak and water was coming in fast. It sank about three quarters of the way over and we all ended up in the water. We were about 30 metres from shore - it was f******Baltic and bloody deep. Pete kept our hopes up by singing sea shanties.”

A valiant member of Babyshambles’ entourage stepped up, “swam like Tarzan,” and rescued all of the band members. Naturally, he rescued bloody Pete and his visible ass first. Hit the next page for the taint:
