It has been noted that Ben Affleck has developed a strange habit of looking adoringly at everybody else but his wife. At the 67th Venice International Film Festival premiere of The Town, Affleck honed in on the comfort zone of co-star John Hamm, while Jeremy Renner appeared to scan the crowd for a quick escape route. In the meantime, Rebecca Hall must have breathed a sigh of relief, for she had preemptively protected herself from the Affleck affections by wearing a truly ugly dress. As you can witness below, poor Renner continued to freak the fuck out while the spaztastic Affleck resumed his reign of red-carpet terror. Clearly, he must be stopped.

The funniest part is that when you look closely at Hamm, he’s not laughing. There is absolutely no tension in his face or neck. Then, notice that while in the throes of uncontrollable non-laughter, he still manages to keep a hand on that fella’s shoulder in the style of “Don’t you dare fucking leave me with this guy!”
