Madonna says that she and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, are related through distant lineage. Please note the startling resemblance from the pictorial montage below:
Madonna apparently phoned The Duchess to inform her of this oh-so-exciting bit of throwaway trivia. Can you imagine that phone call? Ahhh dahlings, you don’t have to imagine! With my sooper seekrit agent ways, I managed to score a transcript:
Madonna: “Hey Camilla! It’s Madonna.”
Camilla: “Excuse me?”
Madonna: “You know, Madonna. The Artist.”
Camilla: “. . . I don’t . . . know anyone . . . by that name . . . ”
Madonna: “M-A-D-O-N-N-A. The Singer. The Actress. I called to tell you that we’re related - I mean, we’re practically sisters!”
Camilla: “Who the bloody fucking hell is this???” Click.
