This dear lurkers may very well be one of the happiest days of my poor pitiful existence on this spinning ball of mud.
Why you ask, because it’s not everyday you learn Beyonce Knowles and Eva Longoria, two women that are on “the list”, are in negotiations to become lesbian lovers. Really, they are, you can trust me I wouldn’t make something as important as this up. Okay I would, and have, but my ethics are a topic for and entirely different discussion. We’re talking about Beyonce and Eva being lesbians.
If there’s ever been a case for what they call “the good gay” this would be it, in duplicate even.

Based on a raunchy Sarah Waters novel it tells the tale of a 1890s music hall star and her lover.

In the interest of full disclosure, I haven’t read Tipping The Velvet, hell I did know it even existed. Now though, my interest is peaked and I’ll be seeing the movie adaptation and after leaving the theater I shall be enlightened. Only problem, if you want to call it that, is should these ladies star in a NC-17 or R rated release, I probably won’t know what the story line is.
The money quote about this project comes from Beyonce: “We’ve had Brokeback Mountain so the time is right for this divine novel to get the same treatment.” Was there ever a time that it would have been wrong for two women this hot to make out on screen (or stage)?
Just one bit of advice for the ladies. Make sure there’s lots of boobages on display ’cause I hear full frontal nudity earns you a guaranteed Oscar nomination, honest it does.

I’ll bet money that B will not get involved with the project. She’s a part of the black hip-hop/rap world and Gay is frowned upon in a big way there.
It would be worse if she was a guy but she’ll still catch a lot of flak if she goes through with it.

I’ve never been able to finish one of Sarah Waters’ dreadful lesbo potboilers, least of all Tipping the Velvet, which was made into a British movie deliciously satirized by French & Saunders as Tipping the Velveteen. However, these two women are about as far from the book’s dull white bread heroines as you could get.

Personly, I think that they should expand their expression by using the whole charicter, specificaly 4 tits and two asses, with a lot of female tennis overdubs.
