Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie spent their Christmas holiday helping others in San Jose, Costa Rica.
“We had a wonderful Christmas both with the Costa Rican people and the Colombian refugee families we met,” Jolie said in a statement. Her visit was part of her work as a goodwill ambassador for the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees.
About 11,500 refugees have come to Costa Rica, most of them from Colombia, where an armed conflict between leftist guerrillas, soldiers and paramilitary forces has forced them to flee, says the UNHCR. All told, an estimated 3 million Colombians have been forced from their homes.
Perhaps not lost on the Jolie-Pitts is the fact that their counterpart roles in Mr. and Mrs. Smith initally hooked up and fell in love in war-torn Columbia. For her part, Jennifer Aniston spent her holiday planning her next month of black outfittery and perfecing her pained expression in the mirror.

Snore…Santa Angolina and Brad don’t give unless there are flashblubs attached to their “good deeds”. True giving doesn’t mean a “photo op”. While I don’t get a dime from Jennifer Anniston to defend her, but I find it appauling that she is less than a person for not being a self-serving media whores like Angolina Jolie and Mr. Pitt. Giving should be a private matter and not “photo op”. As much as she complains about the intrusion, she can’t live without the flicker of lights.
