Britney Spears has made an impressive recovery from what looked like a near-death experience, careerwise, but this Halloween she’s planning to walk right back to the edge. The ex-trainwreck is planning a big Halloween party this year, partly to celebrate the fact that she’s no longer shambling around like a zombie, and she’s thinking of dressing up as–Britney Spears. Only not in a good way:

She’s thinking of going as herself but back in her shaven head days. She’s genuinely horrified when she looks back at those times so she figures that look would be a great costume for Halloween.”

No heads will actually be shaved in the making of this costume, which is convincing proof that she’s regained some measure of sanity and enough detachment that she can look back on those days and laugh. To find out if her little sister Jamie Lynn is in a similarly confident, secure place, we’ll have to wait and see if she shows up for the event in a fake pregnancy suit.
