It was inevitable that the tabloids would suggest that Brad Pitt is now jonesing for a shot as a film’s leading gay man. I seriously doubt that’s true, for even though Brad is a pretty boy, he’s so obviously hetero it makes my uterus twinge.

At the same time, Brad probably won’t be chiming in as to the truth or falsity of this rumour. To put things mildly, he has better things to do that battle tabloids - unlike Tom Cruise.

This brings me to the ultimate declaration of all my Cruise bashing. It pisses me off that Cruise goes to such lengths - rigging faux relationships and bringing defamation suits - regarding his rumoured sexual orientation. Quite frankly, he’s insulting the gay community by claiming that such a claim is defamatory and economically damaging to his person.

Perhaps it doesn’t make much sense to my lurkers, but my convoluted reasoning is one reason I do find pleasure in continuing this cruise ride along the cyberhighway, though surely Tom’s “people” do send out their webcrawlers on a regular basis.
