Thanks to an inadverent discovery early this morning, I’ve spent a considerable amount of time attempting to work and repeatedly surrendering to the archive of Classic Looney Tunes cartoons. The resulting euphoria is quite unlike the reported desecration of our childhood memories in the form of a movie starring Jenna Elfman and Brendan Frasier. So I hear.

Ahh. The good old days when a kid could watch a cartoon that is only seen today in an episode of ‘Itchy and Scratchy’. Where else could a cat be enjoying a smoke after dinner, get shot in the face at point blank range and then just shake it off like a real cat and chase down the mouse.
And what kid didn’t want to find the address of the Acme Corporation so they could order a set of roller skates and a jet pack and go careening through the Bonneville Salt Flats like Chuck Yeager riding a bottle rocket after a night of snorting crank.
I weep for today’s youth.
