It’s been two years since Chris Brown pounded on Rihanna like she was a cheap steak, and he’s more than ready to move on from that unfortunate misunderstanding. Last December he tweeted a picture of the certificate he received for completing a domestic violence course, and now his attention is focused on his album F.A.M.E., due out today. So, when Robin Roberts asked Chris about the incident on Tuesday’s Good Morning America broadcast, he expressed his sincere regret for what he’d done, but said he’d learned from his mistakes and hoped to be a better person in the future.
HA! Just kidding. Actually, Chris went ballistic, insisting he was there to promote the album and not to rehash the past. Finally he stormed off the set, then went back to his dressing room and smashed a window with a chair (the New York Post has a nice picture). When Security showed up to ask him if he was feeling okay, Chris tore off his shirt and had a nasty confrontation before he was escorted from the building. The guy is still on probation (until 2014), so it’s possible the law will take a strong interest in this little contretemps. Of course, Chris can always show them that certificate from the course in Domestic Violence. Most likely, the authorities will congratulate him and suggest he take another course, maybe one focusing on domestic non violence.
