Things are looking bleak for fans of 24. Some of us were hoping Season 7 might yet retrieve the series from last season’s high-intensity suckfest. But now Jack Bauer is looking at jail time, and the writers’ strike has put the new season on indefinite hold. Luckily, College Humor has recovered 24′s original pilot episode from 1994, an era when Jack still had hair and he communicated with Nina through an AOL chat room. Kudos to the people at College Humor for their amazingly detailed recollection of what the Web offered back in 1994, and extra points for finding that vintage dot-matrix printer that can churn out a page of schematics in a mere fifteen minutes or less.
