Well, this isn’t as good as David Duchovny in drag, but a kilt will have to do. These piccies were taken during the Edinburgh premiere of Return to Me (2000), a film that sounds like total crap, so the kilt is a welcome diversion. Duchovny allegedly “proudly displayed his Scottish roots,” which sounds rather pervy in this context:

Minnie Driver, wearing an emerald green satin dress, was first to arrive with fellow British actress Miss Richardson close behind.

But it was Duchovny who drew the biggest cheers from the mainly young crowd especially when they saw the actor had worn a kilt for the occasion.

Earlier in the day, he admitted during a television interview that in true Scottish fashion, he wore nothing under his kilt.

Then, Duchovny shook hands with Prince Charles before settling down to watch his new film…. while going commando. Remind me to never sit down in Scotland.
