I actually live fairly close to where this happened and it was in Oakville, Ontario, not Oakland.
I just dfid some further checking on this and I stand corrected, it was indeed Oakland.

No I don’t know the date, but I do know it was at least a few weeks ago. Because it was a medical emergency the police here do not usually release the information to the public.
