Upon learning of the intentions of Def Leppard, “one of rock’s most exciting bands,” to commence a summer 2007 tour, I sort of shook my head and thought this was just another reunion tour on the heels of many others. Yet apparently, this announcement was made “on the heels of their massively successful 2006 concert tour,” so whatever, I guess.
Def Leppard’s powerful rock anthems have become synonymous with their name and it’s easy to see why rock fans keep gravitating toward their electrifying live performances. On their 2007 tour, the band is promising a highly-charged, no-nonsense set of rocking performances, packed with hits spanning its entire career.
So this will be the most sensible of concert tours, which is odd considering I always thought one of these guys died from choking on his own vomit. Good times.

Steve Clark is the one who died around 1991. I think he’s the one second from the right.
I would have seen them, like, 25 years ago. But now? Puh-leeze…..
Tour News…
This just in! Def Leppard will be touring this year! Um….I’d go. I’m not too proud to admit that I liked them, still do. That’s the closest to that “hair metal” that I got. I wonder if they still have……
I’m somewhat discomfited by the fact that you’re tagging my mullet brethen with the phrase “male whores.” Don’t fear the mullet…
