On Monday morning, Pete Doherty visited his home away from the crack house otherwise known as the Kate Moss mansion. To be perfectly honest, even I’ve lost track of what drug arrest this court visit was intended to remedy, but at least I don’t refer to him with the usual cliches of “Troubled rocker” and “Shambolic!”
When Pete left court, he reportedly smiled an hugged fans after District Judge Jane McIvor gave the wangling wanker a pittance fine for possession of various drugs:
“I feel relieved,” Doherty told reporters outside Thames Magistrate Court in London.
“He’s not going to jail. It’s amazing,” said 16-year-old fan Georgina Raymond, who jumped up and down screaming into her cell phone, “I hugged him!”
Little sweet Georgina might be wise to shower up after encountering Le Filth De Doherty.
As to the future, the unfortunate barrister handling Pete’s legal affairs conceded that a “breakdown” had occurred in Pete’s drug rehabilitation. Ya think?
