Over the weekend, while the Kate Moss publicity machine was busy denying marriage reports, Pete Doherty may have been telling a different story after she sent him home early from their Thailand sexfest:
Pete Doherty has been sent home from his Thai holiday by his supermodel girlfriend Kate Moss after getting in a fight.
The Babyshambles singer was questioned by police after getting involved in a “bust-up” with a taxi driver following a Full-Moon party.
Doherty reportedly told an autograph hunter who spotted him in Heathrow Airport yesterday morning, “She’s sent me home because I got arrested.”
Whilst the 27-year-old denied he had been trying to buy drugs prior to the incident, he did add to a Sun reporter, “Kate won’t talk to me. She doesn’t believe me anymore.”
The paper also reports that Pete claimed he did marry Moss during their stay, despite the claims being denied this week. (emphasis added)
This could very well be one of those made up stories from a conveniently ambiguous source, but Pete does have a previous record of confessing strange details to perfect strangers.
Meanwhile, Les Babyshambles find themselves amidst sparring record companies, as both Parlophone and Warner Brothers have offered a £1 million contract to follow up the “The Blinding” EP. Pete is reportedly holding out for Parlophone to up the stakes, but considering his precarious status as a lawful citizen, he should probably just sign his bloody signature somewhere while he can.
