Ahh, Belgium — a country that “remains relatively free of violent crime,” yet still brings some inexplicable trepedation to Jared Leto and that thing he calls a rock band:

Werchter Festival in Belgium is one of the best music events of the summer. This year it had rock Gods like Pearl Jam, Muse, Rammstein and Green Day. Only one of the bands playing didn’t allow photographers in front of the main stage. And they were the band that had many of the headliners sniggering because they had brought their own security guards.

So which of these legends was it? Well, it wasn’t. It was 30 Seconds to Mars, the musical project of Hollywood actor, Jared Leto.

I’m gonna give Jared the benefit of the doubt and assume that he wasn’t ultimately terrified for his physical safety and well being. Of course, that presents an even worse scenario; that is, that his band was merely concerned about keeping their eyeliner intact. Either way, these guys are total wimps.
