The Good: We don’t talk much music around here for a few reasons: (1) Mr. Atoz grew tired of my constant teasing over his little K-Fed obsession; (2) I also possess a lack of objectivity when it comes to certain musical artists, which I’m sure you folks can elaborate upon for yourselves. Essentially, my rather open-minded take on cinema may have led to the opposite in terms of musical taste. In fact, I’m exceedingly resistant to new music. Yet, I recently happened to stumble upon a song by Omar Doom (if the name sounds familiar, he’s done some time on the big screen) that isn’t what I typically go for, but the song is so fucking catchy that I’ve had it playing on iTunes repeat (& snagged a few new fans by way of Twitter). As to the dude himself, I certainly wouldn’t be the first to note that Omar is generally “looking like a young Al Pacino.” However, since I am a self-professed expert on the aesthetics of vintage Al Pacino, I probably wouldn’t go as early as Godfather II but, instead, would place the resemblance much closer to the Scarface era. That’s a very long-winded way for me to categorize this video as sort of a twisted version of Robert-Palmer-meets-Tony-Montana, that is, minus the massive cocaine addiction. Listen to it, bitches.

The Bad & The Fugly: Oh, mates. It’s been quite awhile since Pete Doherty blessed us with a homemade video of his unwashed English arse bobbing about. As such, I cannot help but post the below video — even though I detest those abhorrent creatures known as “felines,” which make me sneeze and walk through their own crap without even questioning it. Preemptive apologies are issued for the imagery, for I’ve already exposed you unwitting lovelies to Pete wearing nothing but his, uh, mole as well as his exhibitionist grooming tendencies and a 2nd incidence of documented bathing on video (yes, he YouTubed that shit). Let me assure you, however, that the following video is nowhere near as bad as the aforementioned incidents. Really, it’s just fucking bizarre:
