Drew Barrymore never ceases to crack me up and amaze with her seemingly endless (and mostly sober) supply of energy. The actress/producer/director gave an interview to Elle magazine with a few choice quotes:
On why she’s not afraid to get older: “I don’t want to be vain or fearful, and I don’t think I’ll do anything [in terms of plastic surgery], but if I want to do something, I will. From my perspective, there’s no reason to be afraid of aging, because if you age, you’re lucky! The alternative is death.”
On being single: “If you’re 35 and single and it’s a choice, it feels fine. So I didn’t settle with the wrong person yet. Big deal!”
See, that’s a healthy attitude about aging (particularly in Hollywood), but I must giggle a bit at her insistance that she’s not yet married the wrong person as of yet, for she has done so twice already. Each of these unions (to Jeremy Thomas and Tom Green, respectively) lasted just one year, but that’s just me being overly pedantic. Read more at Elle.com.

Yeah, that struck me as weird at first but I take it to mean that she’s happy with the choices that she’s made, no regrets. Good for her! I’m not really a fan but I like her attitude.

I’m sure that’s why she’s wildly Photoshopped on the cover.
