At last night’s People Choice Awards, the Breakout Movie Actor award (presented by Eli Roth, Diane Kruger, and BJ Novak) went to the Twilight Saga‘s very own waxed werewolf, Taylor Lautner. Despite Eli’s “director beard,” it’s pretty easy to see that his facial expression was that of a rabid teenage girl on the opening night of the recent New Moon movie. After witnessing the video evidence as well, one would infer that Eli is a steadfast member of “Team Jacob,” but that’s not necessarily the case. After all, remember when he was caught schmoozing with RPattz at Cannes? Yeah, I’m thinking that Eli is still “Team Edward,” but last night’s reaction was (at least partially) prompted by all the pain medication that he’s taken for those 200 embedded sea urchin needles (nasty pic here), but I could understand inner vampire-werewolf conflict if that’s really the case. Tough choice, mates.
