Now that Britney Spears has proved practically everyone wrong and gotten her trainwreck of a career back on track and moving forward, you’d think she’d want to join the rest of us and forget about the last few years of cooch-flashing, head-shaving hilarity. And once again, you’d be wrong. Brit plans to relive the roller-coaster ride onstage during her upcoming ”Circus” tour, and she’s going to drag her fans along for the ride:

The first act sees the miserable star run away to join the circus. This mirrors her slide into unhinged behaviour. Her disturbing antics while suffering her meltdown are the focus of the second act, which takes place in the circus. Brit is seen having fun in this crazy world and falling in love with a circus freak.”

Normally I wouldn’t endorse a premise that sounds like it was ripped off from an old Simpsons episode, but done properly this could be all sorts of awesome. Hell, I’d be tempted to pay full price for a ticket just to see the moment when Britney’s backup dancers strap her to a gurney.
